He was a toy soldier, taking part in a riot
Fought on, until there was silence
For a minute he seemed to be tired
Next minute he was up and wired

The riot lasted for 3 days and 3 nights
There seemed to be no end in sight
Fascist men came and found the toy soldier
He lay awake, beneath a boulder

They clipped his wings to keep him dreaming
Forgiveness not given, he was left there screaming
Coupled with the fact he was dying
The toy soldier lay there crying

He was falling
He was drowning
He was smothered
He was covered in his own blood

The fascist men moulded the toy soldier
He was no longer his own beholder
They took him apart with a wicked grin
Forgiveness is a sin, when he’s trapped in their skin
More & more he resented his kind
More & more he’s becoming blind

Seems like, his fight, is over
